What is the address?
It will be provided after your reservation is confirmed. If you are looking to estimate your arrival time or see what's local, you can navigate to the fire department in Hope, NY.
How far is the river from the house?
It is just across the yard, only about 65 yards. Take a peak at aerial photos or video footage.
Can I bring my pet?
We allow up to 3 pets as long as they meet the following criteria:
They are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations and flea prevention medications
The don't have any history of biting or property damage
You review and agree to Pet Rules located on the For Guests page
You register them ahead of time by notifying your host and confirming all of the above
What hospitals are nearby?
All emergency and safety information can be found on the For Guests page, including Urgent Care, Hospitals, and Vet clinics.
Is the house near the main road?
When you look at a map, it does look like the house is right on Rt. 30. However, you'll see when you arrive that The Honeybee Cabin is actually located off a private road that takes you down the hill and towards the river. Additionally, the house was designed with the river as the focal point. Combining that, the height differential of the hill, and the dense foliage, you'll all but forget about the road. Take a look at the aerial photos and video shots for a better look.

Can I get an early check-in or late check-out?
We love being able to accommodate these requests as often as we can! However, sometime our schedule doesn't allow for it. Please keep in mind, we can only confirm approval of these requests 1-2 days before your arrival or departure date. So, feel free to let us know your preferences, and we'll work our best honeybee magic.
Do I need to climb any stairs?
Yes. There is an interior flight of stairs that you will need to walk up after you enter the front door. You could walk up the hill and enter through the rear door but there is still a step leading up to the rear door.
Do I need a 4WD vehicle in the winter?
Yes! It is highly recommended that your vehicle can handle the snowy ADK roads. You should also make sure you have road side assistance. The private entry road and driveway are maintained in the winter but the road is steep. We are not responsible for weather or road conditions on or off the property.
